Jack Links has chosen the Superbowl to debut a new marketing campaign called Runnin With Sasquatch according to a recent press release.
The big game has long been known for its commercials and this new Bigfoot Superbowl commercial will definitely add to that legend. The 60-second video will celebrate the ultimate protein snack that has been linked to the elusive cryptid for several years now. As interest in the big guy has grown we have seen him pop up in more and more things like commercials and advertisements on a more mainstream basis. Previous efforts by Jack Links to team up with the creature have seemingly been well received prompting them to keep bringing Sasquatch back into the fold. What could be better than a 2018 Sasquatch sighting and some football all in the same place!
In addition to the 60-second spot that will debut during the Superbowl will be four additional “Runnin’ With Sasquatch” campaign videos set to begin airing on TV and online starting Feb. 19th. These new ads will include:
Glamping: Introduces those people in life who embrace nature like the human equivalent of a bear hug and those who glamp – and leaves viewers to decide which one eats Jack Link’s.
Hiking: Celebrates the hiker a Jack Link’s fan strives to be, compared to the other type of hiker, who spends more time at the outdoor equipment store than training for the climb. Watch the spot to find out which one survives.
Falconry: Showcases the type of person who has the ability to easily command birds of prey and enjoys the convenience of Jack Link’s portable protein to increase her odds of running with Sasquatch.
Mountain Biking: Informs those who bike with Sasquatch that they need a Jack Link’s Steak Strip, and shows those who bike from Sasquatch just need a miracle.
There are sure to be some great commercials during this years Superbowl but the Jack Links Sasquatch Superbowl commercial is sure to rank high on the list of most enjoyable. Tom “T.D.” Dixon, Jack Link’s chief marketing officer has this to say about the new campaign:
