Researcher Katy Elizabeth has made the hunt for the elusive lake monster of Lake Champlain known to many as Champ a life long adventure.
She is one of the foremost experts on the creature and has devoted a lot of time and effort over the years along with members of her Champ Search team trying to prove its existence. There have been hundreds of Champ sightings and reports over many years making it one of the most well-known cryptids worldwide. Katy and her Champ Search team have collected various pieces of possible Champ evidence including sound recordings, photos, and more. Discovery’s Daily Planet joins Katy in the search for the mysterious creature in this exciting new in-depth report.
We get a first-hand look at some of the research techniques used by the Champ Search team along with some of the Champ evidence including eyewitness reports. She talks about her own sightings of Champ describing the creature as being 15-20 feet in length having brownish-blackish skin. According to Katy, she believes the creature may be some kind of hybrid reptile amphibian that can breathe through their skin explaining why they aren’t seen all the time. Hopefully the efforts of Katy and her team to prove to mainstream science that these creatures do indeed exist and are not just something of legend pay off sooner rather than later.
