The somewhat controversial new Killing Bigfoot series is set to begin on February 4, 2017, on Destination America according to reports.
The series features the GCBRO (Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization) and their pursuit of the elusive cryptid across the US in an effort to keep the public safe. Members of the GCBRO believe that killing an aggressive male specimen will once and for all prove to mainstream science that bigfoot exists. The series will follow the group as they respond to the call of ape-like creatures that are attacking people’s homes and animals. The new bigfoot show is described as the most original and thought-provoking bigfoot production on TV.
The show will also feature opinions from some “no-kill” groups who believe this creature is more human than animal and strongly oppose the efforts to kill even one bigfoot. The pro-kill or no-kill argument has been a hotly debated topic for some time now in and around the big foot community. Killing Bigfoot season one will likely generate its share of interest from both believers and skeptics and those on either side of the kill or no kill debate.
It nothing else it will be interesting to see which direction the show takes on its search for bigfoot. Will it be put together in a similar fashion to the already hit series Finding Bigfoot or take an altogether different route more similar to that of Mountain Monsters? There is definitely a big difference between the two and the direction the show takes may be a big key to its longevity.
