A small town in Minnesota named Remer has announced that it now considers itself to be the Home of Bigfoot at least according to the towns Chamber of Commerce.
The town claims its new designation is based on over a century of Bigfoot sightings and activity in the area. They believe the elusive cryptid resides within the wooded lands surrounding their small town and hopes it can become a hub for Bigfoot research in the future. According to the Pine Cone Press sightings of Bigfoot and other reports of activity have been reported from as far back as the 1800’s. Perhaps the town is the next location for a new Bigfoot sighting 2016 to affirm its new designation?
“2009 Minnesota Trail Cam Bigfoot Photo“
Some Bigfoot researchers and enthusiasts may recognize the name of the town from back in 2009 when a Bigfoot photo surfaced allegedly from a trail cam. The Minnesota Bigfoot photo made national news and was a topic of debate for quite some time in and around the Bigfoot community. The towns people hope their home can become a place where Bigfoot evidence, stories, and more can be shared and displayed. The Chambers says it hopes the town has a commitment to preserving everything and anything that can be known about Bigfoot.
