Skeptic’s will always balk at the chance that these mysterious animals are real and perhaps the debate is in part what makes the search so interesting. So which of these lake monsters do you think is most likely to be discovered first or at all ?
Lock Ness Monster
Probably the most famous lake monster around the world also known as “Nessie”. Loch Ness Monster sightings date back all the way to the early 1900’s and continue to be reported today. Even though the most notable Loch Ness Monster photo called the “Sergeon’s Photo” has been allegedly debunked and sighting reports have slowed it has not swayed believers. Some very interesting sonar contacts and images have been registered in the Loch which many point to as positive signs something yet undiscovered still calls the Loch home.
Lake Monster – Champ
Said to inhabit the waters of Lake Champlain and is probably the most well known lake monsters in the United States. Bordering the states of Vermont and New York sightings in the lake go all way back to 1819. Plenty of modern day reasons to believe that Champ could soon be discovered from the famous “Mansi Photo” to echolocation recently recorded in the lake. Champ sightings continue to be reported and it is quickly becoming one of the most talked about lake monsters around the world.
Lake Monster – OgoPogo
Lake monster “OgoPogo” is said to live in the waters of Lake Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. It has been nicknamed “Nessie of the North” and Ogopogo sightings and reports of the creature date back to 1800’s and continue even today. Locals believe Ogopogo may make Rattlesnake Island his home with large footprints being observed there indicating the monster may come ashore. It is not as well known as Nessie or Champ but it could very well prove to be more important if discovered first.
Lake Tianchi Monster
The monster is said to live in Heaven Lake located at the peak of Baekdu Mountain in a mountain range encompassing China and North Korea. Lake Tianchi monster sightings go back to the early 1900’s and continue to be reported. There was even a video back in 2007 by a Chinese TV reporter which captured some unidentified creatures in the lake which many believed may have been the monsters.
