Most of us familiar with Bigfoot have seen the famous Patterson-Gimlin bigfoot footage from Bluff Creek back in 1967.
The short clip of Patty is still considered to be the best piece of bigfoot evidence to date but could additional footage from the expedition hold more proof of the elusive cryptid. According to reports Roger Patterson recorded multiple reels of 25mm footage during his month long big foot expedition. These reels seemingly went missing at some point and many in and around the bigfoot community have long wondered if they could contain even more evidence. Perhaps Patterson captured other types of proof such as tree structure or scat during his time in Bluff Creek.
“Roger Patterson casting Patty track”
One of the missing reels is believed to contain live footage of Patterson and Gimlin inspecting and casting the Patty trackway along with documentation of the bigfoot sighting immediately after it occurred. There have been plenty of theories over the years as to what may have happened to these reels and or who may be in possession of them. If these reels were found and made public they could help to substantiate that Patty was indeed a real sasquatch.
