The Patterson Gimlin Bigfoot video is the most well-known video of Bigfoot in history but a previous video of a Bigfoot tracks may be the reason for its existence.
Back in 1967 a month away from the filming of the Patterson Gimlin film at Bluff Creek a video was filmed on the near by Blue Creek Mountain Ridge of a Bigfoot trackway. The discovery and investigated by Bigfoot hunter Rene Dahinden, journalist John Green, and archaeologists Don Abbot in August of 1967.
The possible Bigfoot footprints and the investigation into them was reported to Roger Patterson by general store owner Al Hodgson. Many believe it was this very report and investigation which led the team of Patterson and Bob Gimlin to near by Bluff Creek on a search for Bigfoot. The duo would go on to record what many believe is the best evidence of Bigfoot ever in October of 1967. Many people including skeptics and believers a like are unaware of the previous finding of the Bigfoot track way which may actually be even earlier proof of Bigfoot.
Here is the original John Green Bigfoot video from Blue Creek Mountain so you can check out the various large footprints found with in the track way. Both these films as believed to be authentic and its very possible that the Patterson Gimlin film would not exists if not the this previous discovery. Over the years since its filming in 1967 no one has been able to find any proof of the Patterson film being nothing but authentic and theories of it being a person in a suit etc have been hotly debated and unproven to this day.
