Did former President Theodore Roosevelt believe in Bigfoot and did a story he included in his book “The Wilderness Hunter” help to strengthen this belief?
Here is a new video from Youtuber Bob Gymlan which takes a closer look at Bauman’s story from President Roosevelt’s book published back in the 1800s. Many believe this story that the former President seemingly believed was actually a bigfoot encounter. There are some very intriguing aspects to this story which could potentially be linked to the elusive cryptid if it is indeed factual. Roosevelt never makes any mention of the creature in this story being bigfoot calling it a “goblin” but he wouldn’t have as the “bigfoot” name didn’t come about until sometime in 1950.
Roosevelt heard the story directly from Bauman and was known as a man who was quick to call out someone he didn’t believe yet according to him he believed this old mountain hunter. Check out the video and listen to what is often referred to as Bauman’s bigfoot story and you can decide for yourself as to whether or not this actually happened and the chances it involved a Sasquatch. Both believers and skeptics are sure to find this to be a very interesting watch and certainly causes one to consider the obvious possibilities. Gymlan always finds some extremely interesting content for these bigfoot videos and this potential bigfoot story is more of the same.
